The Elburn & Countryside Fire Protection District (ECFPD) Cadet program is designed to provide individuals the opportunity to better understand the firefighter’s role and function in the community, and to broaden the Cadet’s knowledge of the basic firefighting procedures.

The Cadet provisional program is for individuals ranging in age from 14 – 17 years old.

The Cadet program is for individuals ranging in age from 18 – 21 years old.

Meetings are held on the first, third and fourth Thursday of the month.

Training will consist of both classroom and hands on instruction.
