The Elburn & Countrysdie Fire Protection District (ECFPD) is an all-hazards special district, operating out of three stations that remain staffed at all times with 11 personnel. We are a combination department with 31 sworn full time Firefighter/Paramedics and 20 part time firefighters, who also hold either Emergency Medical Technician or Paramedic Licenses.

ECFPD provides fire suppression, Advanced Scope-Advanced Life Support EMS transport, hazardous material, technical rescue and community risk reduction services to our protected communities along with our automatic aid partners.

ECFPD is a member of the MABAS Division 13 and has automatic and mutual aid agreements with 13 other fire departments, with whom we share our resources with frequently.
